Our batch of baby bunnies born in December are official on real food and drinking water out of bowls OR bottles. They are ready to be separated from their litter mates and litter box trained in preparation for their new homes... The homes that they were bred to go to... The new homes that will only happen for a select few of them because, let's be real, babies are SUPER easy to get attached to. Plus I mean, they already are used to the routines of our household and will run up to me for loves, treats, and company. SOOOO needless to say, we will be keeping a couple of these. To be honest, the next couple of weeks will be the hardest as I get down to the facts of "we cannot keep ALL of them" and "they were bred for a purpose" and "the babies will make other homes super happy" but letting them go is hard. We will be keeping one that developed nest eye and SEEMS to be blind in one eye, unless we can find the PERFECT home for her. We will also be keeping the ONLY harlequin marked baby for future litters. We may also keep the only baby from our Rex pappa, Phoenix. I gave myself the deadline of spring break for making decisions so I get one more week of cute baby cuddles and loving. I will probably FLOOD our Facebook page and Instagram with pictures and videos of cuteness. Be sure to check them out!
